2021 Demo released!


This is the culmination of the last 5 Alpha builds plus some bugfixing and polishing efforts. Also, we have a trailer now!

Thanks to everyone who helped in this project, both in development and providing feedback, and (hopefully) we'll be back in 2022 with some more updates. Until then, stay safe and happy holidays!

Complete changelog:

feat(ui): style bar now glows when over 80%
feat(ui): fullscreen toggle under 'Video'
feat(ui): fov option under 'Video'
feat(ui): the option settings now get saved between sessions
change(player): style degrades at slight faster rate
change(player): style lost when taking damage is lower
change(player): style received when causing damage to stronger enemies only procs once, when they reach critical health
change(vanguard): rocket launcher cooldown increased by .2 seconds
change(vanguard): minigun damage reduced by 1
change(vanguard): minigun cooldown reduced by .05 seconds
change(vanguard): graviton pull strength and radius adjusted
change(vanguard): graviton color changed to bright blue
change(ui): conveyor floor 'let's get this done' line now appears better
fix(ninja): grappling hook no-gravity fix (maybe?)
fix(ninja): shell bombs hitbox and model fixed
fix(player): vertical elevator movement doesn't activate weapon bob anymore
fix(enemy): yep, I made a no-no regarding the droid's legs. All fixed now!
fix(general): tool dev stuff now only compiles in editor
fix(ui): bars don't grow out of bounds if their value is bonkers
fix(level): suspended crate now properly pushes enemies
fix(level): suspended crate doesn't move the player when they're under it
fix(player): secondary abilities now get saved properly between lives
fix(enemy): the boss ragdoll appears in the correct place now
fix(level): the wall between the conveyor jungle and the conveyor chasm doesn't have weird geometry errors anymore
asset(ui): menu sound effect
asset(enemy): the boss theme

Ay, thanks for the feedback! What do you mean exactly by slow paced? What part of the boss fight did you find it slow?
