Alpha 4 - Laser Cannon and Payback abilities, Outlines


A new update with a new ability for the Vanguard, a new weapon for the Vanguard, the Outline shader and several, several bugfixes.




Complete changelog:

feat(vanguard): payback ability - become invulnerable for up to 4 seconds and emit a shockwave relative to the damage received and dealt during invulnerability 
feat(player): style can now be gained with environmental kills and damage to knight enemies
feat(vanguard): laser cannon - chargeable weapon that launches a powerful laser with massive damage and self-knockback 
feat(general): outline effect - ignores pure black 
feat(ui): outline thickness slider in the options menu 
change(level): the conveyor chasm now has some ceiling decorations 
change(ui): if the player clicks on a loadout option, the "drag and drop" tip flashes 
change(player): style doesn't degrade until used during the tutorial 
change(vanguard): the charge ability is now available at the start of the game
change(vanguard): at 80% style or higher, the rocket launcher reduces its cooldown to 0.2 seconds 
change(vanguard): at 80% style or higher, the charge ability now resets its cooldown after every kill
change(enemy): the Rocketeer's head now receives double damage 
refactor(general): major refactoring to health, attack and damageable scripts in order to acommodate new style gain methods and bugfixes 
refactor(general): style values for attacking and killing may be individually set for each enemy 
refactor(weapon): added a new function for weapons that spawn other damaging entities (e.g. the rocket launcher) 
fix(ui): game getting stuck paused when playing the game for a second time 
fix(enemy): turrets no longer count as multiple enemies when it comes to style gains 
fix(level): movepad hitboxes fixed 
fix(level): conveyor belt details in the factory floor no longer extend further than the size of their belt 
fix(enemy): megadrone hitboxes fixed
fix(player): killheal triggering multiples times when it shouldn't be
asset(weapon): some weapons now have multiple colors
asset(enemy): enemy idle SFXs
asset(vanguard): payback sfxs 
asset(vanguard): laser cannon model 
asset(level): some new material colors
